Communities

We publicise the economic, social and environmental contribution the countryside makes to the national economy and quality of life.

Our aim is to promote understanding and acceptance of the rural way of life and activities such as hunting and shooting in a managed landscape, and to protect them from bias, misinformation and over regulation.

Rural Crime

Crime is a key issue for rural communities and has risen up the agenda of rural concerns over the last few years. The Countryside Alliance is giving rural communities a voice and fighting to ensure rural crime is taken seriously by the Government and police.

Digital Communications

Rural Communities

Rural services are the glue that hold rural communities together and the Countryside Alliance shines a spotlight on those services and amenities which are not accessible to all living in the countryside.

Food and Farming

Our food and farming industry is nationally important and we will ensure that the countryside, its economy and communities are heard in the media and in Parliament.

Countryside Alliance Rural Charter

The Rural Charter highlights several key issues which truly matter to those who live and work in the countryside.

Game to Eat

Game to Eat is the campaign dedicated to promoting the delights of wild British game meat.

Wildlife Law

In light of our decision to leave the European Union the Countryside Alliance is asking the question ‘Where next for nature?’. We have invited contributions from individuals and organisations from a range of backgrounds who have a wealth of experience and knowledge of the countryside and wildlife to help inform and stimulate this important debate.
